Strategic Relationship Between Nimble Storage and Microsoft Results in Innovative Solutions that Enable Organizations to Achieve Increased Efficiency and Simplified Management for Microsoft Applications.

San Jose, Calif. -- Jun 3, 2013 -- Nimble Storage, the leading provider of flash-optimized hybrid storage solutions, today announced that it will participate in the Microsoft TechEd 2013 Conference taking place at the New Orleans Ernest N, Morial Convention Center, June 3-6. Nimble Storage offers enterprise organizations a hybrid storage solution that, when combined with Microsoft applications, provides consistent performance and management at a lower total cost of ownership.

• Nimble Storage will exhibit at the Microsoft TechEd TechExpo [booth #2523], demonstrating how its solutions allow organizations worldwide to consolidate mailboxes, databases and files for multiple Microsoft applications onto a single storage system and reduce storage footprint by 30 to 75 percent.
• Microsoft's Exchange 2010 Solution Reviewed Program (ESRP) – a common storage testing framework developed for vendors to provide information on their storage solutions for Microsoft Exchange Server software – shows that Nimble Storage can support 40,000 mailboxes with a single system occupying only one 3 rack unit, which is 10x higher density than that of any other published ESRP 3.0 solution. As a result, Nimble Storage customers running Exchange 2010 in production experience unmatched efficiency and responsiveness.
• As a member of the Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track program, Nimble Storage worked closely with Microsoft to develop a pre-validated reference architecture to meet the high-availability and high-performance requirements for building private clouds with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V. The architecture combines Microsoft software, consolidated guidance, and validated configurations with computing, network and storage architecture partners. The Nimble Storage SmartStack for Windows Server running on Cisco UCS is validated to support up to 75 virtual machines using Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V.
